Paul Soles - Canadian Legend and Hero You Hear Every Year!

Paul Soles is a name that you might not recognize, but you have definitely heard him and his work! Paul Soles is a Canadian actor, voice over artist and television personality that has been active in the industry since 1953. He has had an incredibly impressive career, performing on the Stratford stage and sharing the silver screen with fellow actors such as Edward Norton, Liv Tyler and Kevin Costner.

What you may know him for is his amazing work....as the first voice of Spider-man back in 1967! Mr Soles voiced the world's most famous wall crawler for the duration of the series that still has you singing that catchy theme song, whenever you think of Marvel's most famous superhero!

But the voice that is probably a tradition that you hear every December in your home, as I have in mine for as long as I can remember, is no doubt the voice for which you know him best.

Paul Soles is the voice of Hermey the Elf in the classic Christmas special, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. He was the heart of that rebel elf, more interested in molars than building toy trains, and a major part of what gets us in the mood for the holidays when we watch this classic show!

Marvel's greatest hero and one of Santa's best are both Canadian. Thanks Mr. Soles.
